GDL Institute and Informed Families Work to Help Teens Make Safe Choices

InformedFamiliesLogoSafe driving begins with smart parenting. Parents play a critical role in teaching teens to make safe life choices. By setting good examples, talking with (and listening to!) teens, and even by choosing the best possible driver training program, parents can help to set their kids on the right path. GDL Institute works hard to educate Florida teens about safe driving choices and behaviors, including the choice not to drive drugged or drunk, using our Drug and Alcohol course for first-time drivers. Likewise, Informed Families shares a similar mission to help kids grow up safe, healthy and drug free.

We are very pleased to announce that we’ve partnered with Informed Families in support of their Safe Homes Smart Parties® campaign which educates parents about the importance of setting boundaries and monitoring behavior around teenage parties to ensure that no drugs or alcohol are present. You can help to support Informed Families by purchasing the mandatory Drug and Alcohol course for teen drivers from GDL Institute. Supporters of Informed Families will receive a 20% discount and a portion of each purchase will be donated to Informed Families, to support the Safe Homes Smart Parties® campaign. Visit the Informed Families website to obtain a coupon code and save 20% on your purchase.

The Informed Families Safe Homes Smart Parties® campaign educates parents about the importance of setting boundaries and monitoring behavior around teenage parties to ensure that no drugs or alcohol are present. Take the Common Sense pledge now and join other parents making a positive impact on their child’s life by preventing problems before they start.

Thank you for supporting our efforts to help Florida’s kids grow up safe, healthy and drug free.
